“I can’t recommend LPB highly enough! From day one, I was welcomed by such an inclusive and encouraging community. Lou and Amanda (along with a great support team) run a well-organised club that makes you feel part of it from the start.
The coaching sessions are fantastic: clear, patient, and tailored to help you really understand the game and improve your technique. The drills are always engaging and fun, and the mix of open play, seeded sessions and Winner & Dreamers means there’s something for everyone.
I was looking for a new sport to keep fit and have fun and this is exactly what I have found at LPB. I can honestly say I come away from the sessions with a smile on my face and a decent work out! If you’re looking for a welcoming, well-run pickleball group in London that combines great coaching with a great community, this is the place to be!”

“Joining London Pickleball has been one of the best things I’ve ever done. From my first session I was made to feel so welcome & I quickly became addicted to a sport that has improved my whole well being, both physically and mentally.
The coaching & drilling sessions are amazing with such supportive Coaches which has enabled me to develop confidence and grow as a player. The opportunities have been endless, playing in festivals, competitions (winning medals), league matches. I’ve also gained a Pickleball leader’s certificate & a Level 1 Instructors qualification. I now run sessions for Seniors at my local leisure centre.”

“I left the gym one Sunday morning, thinking how much I hated it. I could hear lots of laughter from the sports hall below, so peered over the balcony. Lou looked up at that moment and in her inimitable, shy, retiring way shouted at me to "come on down" and give it a go. I was instantly hooked and arranged to return the following week....and the rest is history.
LPB volunteers are amazing, and the whole group is full of just the loveliest people. I'm so glad I found this sport and this community. And I haven't been back to the gym since!”

“ I’ve been playing at LPB for nearly 2 years now and couldn’t wish for a better place to play. Ethos is “open to all” with emphasis on fun and inclusivity, while there’s plenty of coaching, encouragement and challenge for those who want to improve.
Whatever your experience or level Lou, Amanda and the coaches ensure there will be a session (social, coached, ladder, league) and players for a great game. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.”

Louise, Amanda and all the coaches are so patient and passionate about the sport and have made it possible for all of us to thrive no matter our age or skills. I will be forever grateful.”

“I genuinely love being part of London Pickleball.
The leadership is fantastic, and the sense of community and friendship is something special. Every session is well run, with great quality and variety of play — whether you’re there to improve, compete, or just have fun.
Proud to be a member of LPB and grateful for all the brilliant people that make it what it is.”

“I feel as though I hit the jackpot when I stumbled across LPB.
The time and effort Lou and Amanda give to make everyone feel welcome and included is unmatched. Personally it's been great to get my competitive edge back, something I thought I'd lost years ago. I'm fitter, heathier and it's great for the mental health too!
But above all I've met so many amazing people who otherwise I would never have met - the pickleball community is amazing! Playing pickleball 4/5 times a week, LPB has taken over my calendar and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you LPB!!”

“London Pickleball is the club to play at. Lou, Amanda and her team are so encouraging and so knowledgeable. When I started with LPB I was very new to the game and didn’t know what I was doing. Lou and her team have given me encouragement and advice and taught me the real game of pickleball.

“I moved to London from the US and found London Pickleball. I was searching for high-level players (4.5+) and I found it here.
The players are incredibly kind but also fiercely competitive. I love the sessions that we have and the friends and partners that I have found along the way. They are now some of my closest friends, and I see them, text them, and get together with them daily/weekly.
I’m so grateful for Lou for taking me into the LPB family and for Kevin C. for introducing me to everyone. Now on to 5.0!”

The organisers are outstanding and go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcome.”

“Learning to play pickleball quickly became addictive and joining LPB has been a wonderful mix of friendly competitiveness within a super, social, supportive group of fellow pickleball junkies. It’s great doing something I love, while keeping fit and is an energetic form of mindfulness, with the sound of laughter echoing around the court as much as the plastic ball.
I love the fact that I can play with a range of ages/abilities. The youngsters can whip across the court like Usain Bolt, but equally older players can create shots that defy physics and seem to involve some kind of wizardry. There is space for all types of players.
The many opportunities at LPB for different types of play allow all to choose anything from recreational play to playing more competitively by joining the Ladder League or entering competitions. All are very well catered for with more wizardry from Lou, Amanda and the rest of the team who offer support, encouragement, plus coaching and drills sessions for those who want it.
LPB has it all. Competition, cardio and community, but most of all FUN. If you want a healthy addiction, friendly competition and don’t mind learning a new language eg. Dink, banger, Ernie, come and join us. Your body will thank you. Your brain will thank you. 10/10 would dink again!”
